The ANC will announce its decision on convicted perjurer Bathabile Dlamini on Monday.
Dlamini was at this weekend’s ANC national executive committee meeting despite countless promises from the party that no one convicted of a crime will remain in the ANC. Dlamini was found guilty of perjury earlier this month.
The judge found that had she lied under oath when she testified as minister of social development in 2017.
ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe said, “there will be a briefing tomorrow [Monday] conducted by the treasurer-general. The TG now overseas the work of the secretary-general owing to the ill health of the DSG. He will be able to outline decisions taken by the meeting on this matter.
