Popular Mzansi social media sensation, Skomota, real name Thabang Sefala has been topping trends in the backdrop of his birthday. Against his newfound fame, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about his private life, and his age has often been implicated in the mix.

Skokota stole the show at the Awards when Limpopo dance queen Makhadzi brought him as a surprise guest act during her set. This was a birthday present from Makhadzi. The viral sensation turned 21 over the weekend, No doubt Skomota’s age left many puzzled.
He is from Ga-Mampa, a small village outside Lebowakgomo in Limpopo. However, little is known about his birth date, but he had his birthday celebrations on 18 November.
Skomota made it known that sharing the stage with Makhadzi was the best birthday gift ever. Viral videos and photos of Skomota on stage with Makhadzi have flooded social media.

Skomota made headlines on 25 August 2023 after he won R3 million from Betway, a betting platform. Surprisingly, he met his soulmate while collecting his winnings. Reports have it that the lady who assisted him in cashing out his winnings is now his soulmate, and the two have been serving goals.
