Black Coffee bags another international recognition. The South African DJ was at the British GQ event which held last week. Aside from serving the attendees sizzling sounds, he also walked back home as one of the GQ Men of the Year 2023. Taking to Instagram, the Grammy-award-winning star appreciated the honour.

It’s a true honor,” he wrote.GQ Men of the Year celebrates stars from entertainment, fashion and sport who have made 2023 a year to remember. The ceremony was held on November 15 in central London.

While out celebrating his GQ Man of the Year Honour, DJ Mag – British monthly magazine dedicated to electronic dance music and DJs – revealed that the South African had made number 25 on their prestigious list of Top 100 DJs. He has gone up 14 places on this year’s list.

Orlando Pirates football star, Thembinkosi Lorch, has been handed a suspended jail sentence and fined R100,000 for assaulting his girlfriend, Fundiswa Mathithibala.

Lorch appeared in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where he was granted a three-year direct imprisonment order, which was suspended for five years with conditions. Read more
