The man accused of murdering and raping Kirsten Kluyts has been denied bail by the Alexandra Magistrate‘s Court. The 21-year-old student is charged with rape, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and premeditated murder.
The accused was arrested after being seen leaving George Lea Park wearing Kluyts’ top. Her naked body was found in the park on the morning of 29 October.
