Fire leaves 18 people displaced in Eagle Park, Cape Town! At least 18 people have been displaced from their homes after a fire at a settlement in Eagle Park in Cape Town last night.

Multiple crews from the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene.

Several formal and informal structures were damaged by the blaze.

“An adjacent dwelling’s roof also sustained fire damage,” said Jermaine Carelse, spokesperson for the service.

“The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.”
