South Africa has been lambasted for its non-alliance stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict and for taking Israel to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
The country’s efforts have resulted in a warrant of arrest being issued against Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu by the ICJ for charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Just this week, Britain, France, and Canada threatened to take more action against Israel if it continues to escalate its offensive on Gaza.
Ramaphosa insists South Africa’s position on various issues will be ventilated.
