Singer Thato Hashatsi has announced that she will be taking a temporary break from performing due to an illness that has left her without her voice.
The talented performer was scheduled to appear at several high-profile events, including Redbull Symphonic, Market@theSheds, and Drama Hatfield PTA on June 7, 2025, but unfortunately had to cancel all planned performances.

Statement to Fans
In a heartfelt statement shared on her social media timeline, Thato expressed her regret and gratitude to her fans and event organisers.
“I, Thatohatsi, regret to inform you that due to an unexpected illness, I have temporarily lost my voice and was unable to perform at the Redbull Symphonic, Market@theSheds, and Drama Hatfield PTA scheduled for June 7,” she wrote.
Plans to Return
Thato assured her supporters that she is committed to rescheduling her appearances once she has recovered and will work closely with promoters to find suitable alternatives.
“I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to the event organisers, their sponsors, and my supporters. I truly appreciate your understanding during this challenging time. I can’t wait to see you all soon,” she concluded.
Fans have since flooded her page with well-wishes for a speedy recovery.
