The party is officially back! Mzansi’s favourite music and friendship showdown, Friends of Amstel: The Challenge, is returning for Season 2 — and it promises to be bigger, louder, and even more entertaining.
The highly anticipated new season premieres on Saturday, 14 June at 6pm on e.tv, with fan-favourite Lawrence Maleka returning as host.
Levelled-Up Format and Celebrity Line-Up
Following a successful first season packed with epic games and unforgettable moments, Season 2 is raising the stakes. This time around, viewers can expect new games, surprise twists, and a star-studded line-up featuring DJ Tira, Makhadzi, Khuli Chana, Nasty C, Mawhoo, Mr JazziQ, and many more.
Each week, a celebrity artist will team up with three friends (known as Defenders) to compete against a challenger and their crew (Challengers) in music-inspired games testing rhythm, creativity, and friendship.

Joining Lawrence Maleka are powerhouse DJs Lerato Kganyago (LKG), returning as the fan-favourite turntable queen, and Lamiez Holworthy, making her exciting debut as the new resident DJ.
