3 Mozambican nationals arrested in Springs for possession of dismantled motorcycles! Three Mozambican nationals have been arrested in Springs after they were caught with dismantled motorcycles believed to be part of a cross-border theft syndicate.
Police found two dismantled motorcycles wrapped in refuse bags, ready to be loaded into a trailer hooked to a bakkie.

One bike was reported stolen in Cosmo City earlier in June and officers believe the parts were destined for Mozambique.
The team also recovered a jet ski, which two of the suspects were covering when police moved in.
“Crime Intelligence, together with Ekurhuleni district crime prevention members launched an intelligence-driven operation to intercept the suspects. One suspect wanted to escape upon seeing the police, but he was apprehended.”
