4 arrested in DJ Sumbody murder case! Police have confirmed significant progress in the murder investigation of Oupa John Sefoka, popularly known as DJ Sumbody.

DJ Sumbody murder
Among those arrested is businessman Katiso “KT” Molefe, detained at his Sandton residence. The other three suspects — Michael Pule Tau, Musa Kekana, and Tlego Floyd Mabusela — are believed to be professional hitmen.
Weapons and Links to Other Crimes
According to police, the weapon allegedly used to kill DJ Sumbody was recovered during the operation and has been linked to multiple other murders. Investigators believe Molefe orchestrated the hit, while the other three carried it out.
At the time of his arrest, Molefe was already out on bail for his alleged involvement in the hit-style murder of Vereeniging engineer Armand Swart in April 2024, alongside Tau, Kekana, and Mabusela.
Connected Attempted Murder Case
Kekana and Mabusela also face charges of attempted murder over a separate attack on actress and socialite Tebogo Thobejane. That alleged hit was reportedly ordered by her ex-lover, businessman Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala.
All four suspects remain in custody as investigations continue and their trial dates are awaited.
