A Journey of Healing and New Beginnings
Earlier this month, Amanda shared her pregnancy news, expressing gratitude as she reflected on her healing journey following immense personal loss.
“An answered prayer. An addition to my family… the past years have been a blur at times. Kodwa at the end of it all, God showed me grace,” she wrote.
Amanda’s life was shattered in 2021 when her mother and grandmother were brutally murdered. Her father, William Manku, now stands trial alongside co-accused David Khoza for the killings. Both were arrested in January 2024 and remain in custody.
Motherhood Reflections
In a previous interview on Pasie Koetle’s podcast, Amanda admitted motherhood has reshaped her perspective.
“When I had my first child, I didn’t know what motherhood was… I thought I’d grown, but I really hadn’t,” she said.
For Amanda, her second child marks not just a new chapter in her life but a symbol of resilience after tragedy.
