EFF marks 12th anniversary with thousands gathered in Khayelitsha for celebrations! The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) said anniversary celebrations in Khayelitsha have been a success so far with thousands of supporters joining the celebrations.
The party also said it was in a good position to grow its support base as witnessed in recent by-elections around the country.
EFF marks 12th anniversary
Supporters have braved the chilly weather and have been streaming into the Khayelitsha Rugby stadium since early Saturday morning.
Party leader Julius Malema is expected to address supporters just after 12 midday.
Party spokesperson, Thembi Msane, said everything was going according to plan.
“As you can see, we are celebrating 12 years and it’s a successful event. Parliament is functioning as it should, provinces are functioning as they should. Recently in Gauteng we had our sub regional people’s assemblies which is a sign that the organisation is growing,” said Msane.
