Golden Arrow bus commuters will have to fork out more money for a bus ticket from 11 August, as a 4% increase comes into effect.
Golden Arrow said the hike was a result of continued increases in operating costs.

The bus company said that while it understood the financial challenges faced by passengers, it has no choice but to hike its prices.
Golden Arrow spokesperson Bronwen Dyke-Beyer said: “In recent years, we’ve made a concerted effort to delay annual fare increases beyond the customary December period. In December 2024, we once again deferred the increase. However, due to continued and widespread increases in operating costs across our supply chain, we are no longer able to delay any further.”
