The Lusikisiki massacre trial, where 18 people were shot and killed at Ngobozana Village in the Eastern Cape last year, has been postponed once again.
This time around, over outstanding witness statements in the matter.
On Thursday, the State in the case led evidence from its first witness in the Mthatha High Court sitting in Lusikisiki for the trial.

However, defence lawyers said they could not cross-examine the witness because most of what he said was not contained in the statements furnished to them.
Speaking on behalf of the families of the victims, David King raised concerns about the number of postponements in the case.
“Seemingly, the postponement of this case on a daily basis is what we are going to experience and is actually going to drag on longer than we anticipated.”
The matter will return to court on Friday morning.
