SAWS warns Gauteng residents to expect more showers

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned Gauteng residents to expect more showers on Thursday afternoon.

The low temperatures currently in the province are expected to persist at least until the night.

Other parts to be affected by severe weather include Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

“A yellow level 3 warning for severe thunderstorms has been issued. It is likelihood of severe thunderstorms that are expected in the eastern parts of Limpopo, into the southwest in parts of Mpumalanga,” said forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela.
