Western Cape police investigating a murder after shooting at Somerset taxi rank! Police are investigating a murder at the Somerset taxi rank in Makhaza, Khayelitsha, following a deadly shooting Saturday morning.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at the scene, where they found a man who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.

Police spokesperson FC van Wyk said the suspects are still at large, and the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
“Upon arrival they found the body of the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest laying on his back halfway out the door of the taxi. The adult male was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. The motive is believed to be taxi related,” said van Wyk.
