Sol Phenduka and Mac G urged to take legal action after Kaya FM fallout! Sol Phenduka’s recent firing from Kaya FM has sparked heated debate online, with music executive Nota Baloyi urging both Phenduka and his podcast co-host Mac G to take legal action against the station.

Phenduka, who co-hosts Podcast and Chill with Mac G, was first suspended and later dismissed, a move reportedly linked to Minnie Dlamini’s lawsuit against the podcast.

The decision has divided public opinion, with some defending Sol while others argue he must be held accountable for his role on the controversial platform.

Nota made his stance clear on social media, writing: “Sol Phenduka & MacG must sue KayaFM… Simple & plain. This is a defamatory smear campaign. You can never under our constitution be held accountable for someone else’s statements. Not a f***ing chance. They must sue that Neanderthal David Tiltmann in his personal capacity as well!

Fans were equally divided in the comments.

Some echoed Nota’s call, insisting Sol should also “sue Minnie for suing him for something he didn’t do which resulted in losing his job.”

Others argued that Sol was complicit, with one critic noting: “He may not have said something offensive but he participated very much and even added a laugh there! Study the law, South Africans, and start paying attention to reading more than assuming more!
