Popular Canadian rapper and singer, Drake, has yet again caused a storm on social media, and no this has nothing to do with bras being catapulted or women being dissed by the rapper. This time around, however, the Certified Lover Boy rapper has followed South African songstress Tyla on Instagram.

Drake’s actions come as no surprise, especially considering how he tried to connect and “shoot his shot” with Amapiano DJ Uncle Waffles during her viral moment. He too followed Uncle Waffles on Instagram and proceeded to give her many shout outs. While some call it genuine support, others are calling it weird and in turn, questioning the rapper’s motives.

“Tyla girl, RUN!”, one X user tweeted.

Another user noted how creepy the artist was being especially considering how young Tyla is, “Here he goes being creepy again. How old is she?”.

One X user even exclaimed that Drake should “Leave Tyla alone”.

While we may never know if Drake’s intentions are pure, what we do know is that Tyla has always been adamant about collaborating with Drake.

In an interview with Spotify the budding artist shared who her dream collaboration would be. “My dream collab is Drake, 100% It’s coming soon, I’m putting it in the atmosphere”, Tyla gleefully noted.

Tyla’s rising success has caught the attention of various stars like Ciara, Chris Brown, Naomi Campbell, Tems and Khalid. Not only is her hit Water making history on the Billboard charts, but she has also recently performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Tyla has also recently collaborated with RnB sensation Summer Walker.
