Well-known Mzansi singer, Lady Zamar has reportedly joined Open Mic Productions in other to resuscitate her career.
The South African singer is signed to Universal Music, but she is with Open Mic for her bookings and marketing.
Since the rape accusation saga with Sjava, Zamar has been blatantly struggling.
Though, her recent single, Castle did greatly than expected, but she hopes joining Makhadzi’s former record label will further boost her career.
“It has not been an easy journey for her, it’s as if the entertainment industry turned its back on her,” a source revealed to Zimoja.
“She is one of the best vocalists we have in the country, I hope people will see just beyond her,” another source said.
“She has a great album out but no one is pushing it, with Open Mic and their connections she is hoping it will do well,” the source added.
