The entertainment world is left in shock as it has been revealed that the Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel is sued for alleged sexual battery and forcing himself on his ex-assistant. According to TMZ, the acclaimed actor’s ex-assistant has accused him of performing indecent acts with her during the filming of the fifth installment of Fast & Furious.

According to the legal documents obtained by the publication, the plaintiff Asta Jonasson claims that she was hired by production company One Race Films for the position of assistant to the actor while he was filming the movie in Georgie. Asta has alleged that she was at Diesel’s suite at St. Regis in Atlanta while he was entertaining multiple women.

She said that after the last woman left, the actor forcibly grabbed her, gro**ed her and kissed her, while they were still in the suite. Asta continued that the actor continued forcing himself on her as she struggled to break free, adding, “I closed my eyes to dissociate.”

She claims when he finished, he pulled up his shorts and said: “No one can say s**t about it, Asta” and left the room. The actor has not yet responded to the accusations levelled against him.

Impact/TNA Wrestling star Brian Myers, formerly known as Curt Hawkins in WWE, has announced that he has signed a contract extension with the promotion.

Myers disclosed the news in a recent interview with “Sports Illustrated,” stating that the decision to extend his deal through 2024 was an easy choice for him as the promotion has allowed him to be himself. The 38-year-old star rejoined Impact in 2020 after being released by WWE during the pandemic.

For the past three-and-a-half years, it’s been a perfect fit. I get to be the best version of myself while being a TNA Wrestling star, so this decision was pretty easy for me,” said the former TNA World Tag Team Champion. He added that he’s had the most fun in his pro wrestling career in his current spell with Impact/TNA.

Myers, whose last contract extension was at the start of 2023, expanded that his relationship with the promotion’s management is strong, revealing that the higher-ups as well as the roster appreciate his presence in the company. He also seems to have unfinished business in the promotion as he outlined that his goal is to become a world champion.

“Every day I show up to TNA, that is the goal [to win the TNA World Championship]. But that’s not necessarily my focus –- I’m focused on controlling what I can control,” said the former WWE star.

He stated that his tag team with Eddie Edwards has potential, but winning the world title remains his ultimate goal in the company. Since switching to the promotion in 2020, Myers has earned a few shots at the world championship, facing champions like Christian Cage, Edwards, and most recently, current TNA World Champion Alex Shelley twice earlier this year, but has come up short every time.

The Nigerian fashion designer spoke about her battles this year; from losing a child, and battling with fibroids, to undergoing spine surgery. She had to be taken to the ICU three times; she spent two months in the hospital and did the rest in a rehabilitation center.

“I ended up in ICU three times and made it out three times,” she says. I had to write to communicate with doctors and nurses. My small baby kept looking at me like I said something. I then knew how it felt to lose one’s voice. The ability to speak, walk, and sit is so underrated.” She also appreciated people who stood by her during the trying period.

“This period in my life made me realise who were my friends and who weren’t. The last people I expected to rush to my aid did so without even asking,” she says. I am thankful to everyone who supported me while being stuck in that hospital. You think you have money? Wait until you are in hospital.”

“I just pray to God to show mercy to anyone going through the same out there. I’m thinking about the people who don’t have funds to help themselves what will they do? Being there, I saw at least three rich people die in front of me and I was just grateful for my life.
