Lawyers for ANC MP, Thandiwe Reachable are challenging Mxolisi Dukwana’s swearing-in as a member of the Free State legislature.

Reachable is crying foul after the ANC changed its original list of candidates for that legislature.

On the original list, Reachable was placed at number 20 and Dukwana at 29. The Free State ANC then published a second list, with Dukwana moved to number 20 and Reachable to 22.

Her lawyers say Dukwana skipped the queue and became an MPL. They’re demanding that his swearing-in be rescinded, and Reachable put in his spot.

They are also threatening further legal action.
