Well-known South African singer, Kelly Khumalo reportedly caused a stir at a show over the past weekend.
According to ZiMoja, the singer wasn’t pleased with the sound quality at the Lemo Festival, hence she interrupted her band and demanded that the technical crew fix the problem.
“She is talented that is one thing you can’t take from her. The crowd came to a standstill and sang along,” the source disclosed.
ZiMoja revealed that Kelly’s lack of preparation affected her performance, as she didn’t rehearse before the fest.
According to a source at the festival, the Asine hitmaker could not make it due to her busy schedule.
“I think she was fully booked; I know the previous weekend she was busy hence she couldn’t rehearse,” the source said.
“She left a bitter taste in the mouth of the organizers, she is the only one who complained about her mic. Zonke and other big singers who actually came to the event did not have issues with anything or anyone,” the source further said.
