Cape Town police on Tuesday confiscated a consignment of drugs that was likely meant for inmates at a prison.
Officers at the Wynberg Magistrates Court received an anonymous tip-off about the narcotics, and this led to a search of the court’s holding cells.

“The members also confiscated liquor which was concealed in small sanitiser bottles as well as Xanex tablets and a few packets of cigarettes. As a result of the discovery, the members arrested two male detainees, aged 25 and 38, for the possession of drugs.”
