According to reports, the man had purchased a ticket for the popular Sky-HI Ride before making the fatal jump from the building.

Local authorities swiftly implemented road closures in the surrounding area as they processed the scene. Commuters are urged to proceed with caution as significant traffic delays are expected due to ongoing emergency procedures and investigative efforts.
Police Investigation Underway
Provincial police spokesperson, Captain Frederick van Wyk, confirmed that the man’s body was discovered shortly before 4 pm.
“A post-mortem will be conducted to establish the man’s race, age, and cause of death. An inquest has been registered. Crime scene experts and Cape Town Central SAPS detectives are actively combing the area for further clues,” added van Wyk.
