Protesting Rosettenville residents want police officers accused of corruption removed! Protesting residents from Rosettenville, in the south of Johannesburg, want officers they have accused of corruption removed from the Booysens Police Station.
The community members gathered in front of the police station on Wednesday to hand over a memorandum of demands.

Under the March and March banner, the community said it was tired of being governed by law enforcement that allegedly works with illegal immigrants.
The movement’s Mbali Gumbi said they needed their cases to be processed.
“We need the cases to make it to the court. The cases are not making it to court because money is being paid, and then it never happens. We’re calling for the JMPD to do their bylaws and remove all the street vendors in the street corners that are unpermitted and the spaza shops that are selling stuff that are killing our kids.”
