Three suspects arrested for the possession of rhino horns are set to make their second appearance in the Swellendam Magistrates Court on Friday.
The three were nabbed by Hawks at the beginning of July after they were found in possession of three rhino horns.

It’s alleged they were involved in the possible sale of the horns, which police said is estimated to be worth close to R260,000.
The suspects are set to apply for bail on Friday.
The communication officer for CapeNature, Luke Folb, said charges are related to the illegal possession and sale of rhino horn.
“The illegal trade in rhino horn remains one of the most pervasive forms of biodiversity crime that we have. CapeNature commends the swift and coordinated action of the Hawks and SAPS [South African Police Service] and is committed to supporting law enforcement efforts to bring perpetrators like this to justice.”
