Tensions Explode on Reality TV

The conflict reportedly began with Ntuli confronting London, accusing her of disrespecting her family and branding her a “mean girl.” London, in response, kept her composure while calling Ntuli a “bully” and “horrible.” The situation escalated when Ntuli threw a cushion and poked London in the forehead, leading to London threatening to open a criminal case.

Station Issues Statement, Ntuli Apologises

Following the incident, Gagasi FM released a statement on Friday, confirming that Ntuli had accepted “full accountability” for her behaviour.

The station denounced bullying and aggression and announced that Ntuli had issued a written apology to both the RHOD cast and crew. This apology is expected to be aired during the upcoming reunion special.

The station also revealed that Ntuli is seeking professional help to manage her emotional responses, with Gagasi FM supporting her through the process.

Our focus is on promoting reconciliation,” the statement read. “As professionals in the media industry, it is possible that Minnie and Londie will work together again in future.”

Public Calls for Removal and Accountability

Despite the apology, backlash has been fierce. Viewers have labelled Ntuli’s conduct as “violent” and unacceptable, accusing her of normalising aggression on television.

Many fans took to social media expressing disappointment that the station had not suspended or dismissed her. “I thought I would find the word ‘FIRED’ in this letter,” one commenter wrote in frustration.

Online Petition Gains Momentum

A petition on Change.org has since been launched, demanding Ntuli’s removal from both RHOD and Gagasi FM’s morning show The Rising. It has already attracted close to 20,000 signatures.

“We urge the producers of RHOD to remove Minnie Ntuli to signal that violence will not be tolerated,” reads the petition. “Additionally, Gagasi FM must review and address her conduct to maintain integrity with audiences and sponsors.”

As public pressure mounts, all eyes remain on how Gagasi FM and RHOD producers will respond next.
