Tiffany Meek bail application: Court expected to hear State & defence closing arguments! The Roodepoort Magistrates Court is expected to hear the State’s and defence’s closing arguments for Tiffany Nicole Meek’s bail application.
She is accused of murdering her 11-year-old Jayden-Lee Meek, who was found a day after she reported him missing in May.
The Roodepoort Magistrates Court will be given reasons as to why the murder accused should or should not be granted bail.

Some community members who have been attending the long bail application process have expressed mixed opinions as to why Meek should be allowed to go home.
Many have said she must stay behind bars for her safety, a point that was also shared by investigating officer Nceba Diko.
However, her lawyer, Novel Naidoo, has argued that society’s views are fickle and can change at a whim.
The court has been presented with evidence that placed Jayden-Lee in the Fleurhof apartment he shared with his mother before his death.
Judgment is expected to be handed down this week.
