Lobby group Not in My Name is set to lead a peaceful demonstration at the Prinshof School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Pretoria on Monday.
This follows allegations that a 14-year-old learner was sexually assaulted by a teacher.
The alleged incident only came to light after the learner’s father noticed a sharp drop in her academic performance and took the matter up with the school.

The child then reportedly revealed that she no longer felt safe at school due to the alleged abuse she had experienced.
The organisation said it is outraged by what it calls a serious failure by the school’s management to protect its learners.
Not in My Name spokesperson Themba Masango said a criminal case has been opened at a Pretoria Police Station.
“We call upon the principal and the management Prinshof School to provide their full and unconditional cooperation. Then there needs to be support for the victim, we demand that the Department of Education and the school provide immediate ongoing professional and psychological support for the victim and her family to aid her healing.”
