SARS makes R56 million cocaine drug bust in KZN! The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has made a R56 million drug bust.
The operation was carried out by the Customs Marine Patrol vessel on Thursday.

SARS said the operation was a collaborative and intelligence-driven one.
The ship carrying the massive haul of drugs was intercepted at the fairway buoy on Durban’s East Coast.
It was still en route when customs enforcement officials boarded the vessel to search for the suspected containers.
During their search they found 25 bricks of suspected cocaine hidden inside refrigeration units.
And after a field drug test positively identified the substance as cocaine, the cops were called.
SARS Commissioner Edward Kieswetter commended the officers for disrupting the infiltration of drugs into the country and for protecting society from it.
