RAF executives raise concerns about alleged racial bias behind their suspensions! Two suspended executives at the Road Accident Fund (RAF) have raised concerns about alleged racial bias and hidden motives behind their suspensions.
RAF CEO Collins Letsoalo and Chief Investment Officer Sefotle Modiba addressed the media in Pretoria on Saturday.
They claimed that their suspensions were linked to their efforts to improve the fund’s operations, which were now being used against them.

Letsoalo claimed that white-owned law firms received faster payouts than their black-owned counterparts.
Modiba, on the other hand, alleged that claims were being paid out to undocumented foreign nationals and that his efforts to stop the practice may have contributed to his removal.
He also questioned the qualifications of his interim replacement.
“My substitution is a young gentleman, very professional, but he is white and he is not vetted and he does not have experience to run an investment management team, so then you ask yourself that was it about the background of quality which then surfaced out claims that shouldn’t have been paid.”
