Western Cape: At 13H13 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 with fire and rescue services and other services responded to the R44 in the Cape Winelands.
Reports indicate that a truck and bakkie were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that five occupants of the bakkie had sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
All the patients were treated on scene before being transported by private and Metro ambulance to the hospital for further care.
