Orlando Pirates will be looking to get their Betway Premiership title defence back on track when they face Chippa United at Kings Park Stadium in Durban on Sunday.

The Buccaneers made a strong start to the new campaign with a 2-0 victory over newly promoted Milford FC, but their momentum was checked in midweek when they were held to a 1-1 draw by AmaZulu.

The result was Pirates’ first dropped points of the league season and leaves Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side with little time to dwell on the disappointment. With another fixture arriving only days later, the champions must quickly regroup and rediscover the attacking sharpness that helped them begin their title defence with a victory.
