Details of late Presley Chweneyagae’s memorial service, funeral & resting place announced! Friends, family, fans, and industry colleagues are preparing to bid farewell to beloved South African actor and Oscar-winner Presley Chweneyagae, who passed away on May 27 due to a sudden respiratory issue.

The 40-year-old actor will be honoured in two memorial services before his funeral and final resting place.

Two Memorials in Honour of a Star

To celebrate Presley’s impactful life and career, two separate memorial services have been scheduled. The first service will be held on June 3 at the Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mafikeng, his hometown. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 am, and is expected to bring together members of the local community, friends, and family to reflect on his journey from local boy to international star.

Presley’s funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 7 at the Akasia Community Hall, starting at 8:00 am.
