Thenjiwe returns home
A Global Star Comes Home
After performing on some of the world’s biggest stages — including the Edinburgh Festival and headlining with shows like The Mandela Effect — Thenjiwe says nothing beats performing for her hometown crowd.
“I’ve been to the biggest comedy stages in the world, but nothing compares with performing for my people in Durban,” she told the publication. “I’m coming back with everything – the stories, the laughter, and the truth about where I was when the world shut down.”
Real Talk, Real Laughs
Thenjiwe Unplugged promises a raw, unfiltered comedy experience packed with personal stories, clever observations, and her signature humour.
From lockdown struggles to life as a globetrotting African woman, the show will blend truth and comedy in a way only Thenjiwe can deliver.
Don’t Miss It
This long-overdue performance is already creating buzz among fans who have waited patiently for her return. If you’re in Durban, prepare for a night of laughter, relatability, and hometown pride.
