South African gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo and her husband Nqubeko Mbatha are celebrating a beautiful milestone after marking 18 years of marriage.
The award-winning vocalist took to social media to share heartfelt photos of the couple, reflecting on their journey together and how their love story began more than two decades ago.
Ntokozo revealed that she first met Nqubeko in 2001 when she was just 15 years old, never imagining that he would one day become her husband.
“In 2001, a 15-year-old girl took a picture with a boy not knowing that he would change her life forever,” she wrote.
She went on to describe her husband as part of God’s divine plan for her life, expressing deep gratitude for his love, patience, and unwavering support over the years.
“She didn’t know he would marry her 7 years later. She didn’t know he would be the father of her children. She didn’t know he would make her dreams come true,” she added.
Ntokozo also reflected on their marriage, saying their bond has continued to grow stronger with time and still feels fresh despite nearly two decades together.
“18 years of marriage later, it feels like our love story has just begun. We practically grew up together & I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
She concluded her tribute by thanking God for sustaining their union and celebrating her “husband of my youth” on their anniversary.
Nqubeko also shared a touching message for his wife, expressing gratitude for their journey and reaffirming his love.
“This walk feels sweeter and sweeter with each step we take together. I love you forever baby ❤️ Happy 18th Anniversary,” he wrote.
