4th suspect arrested in murder of Free State police officers!   • A silver and black Taurus pistol.
  • A pistol magazine with two live rounds of ammunition.
  • A brown balaclava.
  • A Samsung Galaxy cellphone.

The suspect is now the fourth person arrested in connection with the case and is expected to appear before the Phuthaditjhaba Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. He faces charges of double murder, house robbery, and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

    • Arrested on January 16, 2025.
    • Appeared in court the following day, facing charges of murder and robbery.

    • Arrested on January 15, 2025.
  3. Lakaje Piet Thetha (53):
    • Arrested on January 17, 2025.
