TV channel Moja Love has commended President Cyril Ramaphosa and his delegation for their recent meeting with US President Donald Trump.
The meeting, aimed at resetting the strategic relationship between South Africa and the US, sought to dispel misinformation about South Africa, particularly regarding land reform and violence against white farmers.
Moja Love CEO Aubry Tau said the meeting sent a clear message about South Africa’s readiness to do business with the US and dispel misinformation about South Africa.

“This was more than a diplomatic visit; it was a moment of national clarity,” Tau said.
“The message was simple: South Africa is not a failed state. We are fighting back against misinformation, and we’re serious about rebuilding global trust and attracting investment.
“This meeting was a wake-up call and a reminder that strong, proactive diplomacy matters. It’s about opening doors for investment, boosting confidence in our economy and showing the world that South Africa is ready to do business with integrity.”
Ramaphosa’s delegation included ministers, businessman Johann Rupert, and renowned golfers Ernie Els and Retief Goosen.
“Rupert in particular took a strong stand against the harmful and false narrative of white genocide in South Africa,” Tau said.
He expressed the channel’s support for such efforts, focusing on telling stories that matter and fighting for accountability, dignity and progress.
“As a channel we tell the stories that matter. We fight for accountability, dignity, and progress — especially for those left behind. That’s why we back efforts like this. Honest engagement with global leaders isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. This delegation didn’t just represent the government. They represented us — the people. And for that, they deserve our respect.”
Tau urged the government to invest in strategic media campaigns that would stop the spreading of misinformation.
