RIP: Presley Chweneyaga’s on-screen family still grappling with his death

Late thespian Presley Chweneyaga colleague’s say they are still grappling with the actor’s sudden death.

The 40-year-old’s telenovela Mokoena family from The River shared that they were in disbelief at their colleague’s passing.

The award-winning actor died last week due to respiratory failure.

Thabiso Ramotshela, who plays Morena Mokoena on The River and spin-off Cobrizi, expressed that he has not only lost a colleague but a father.

“All I wanted was his approval of my work, and to hear from other people right after he did that you admired me, you loved me, you watched me, you scrutinised every move I made. Honestly, I miss you so much. I love you so much, Papa.”

Actress Matshepo Sekgopi, who played Dimpho Mokoena, also shared that she was privileged to have worked with Chweneyaga.
