Paul Mashatile hails David Mabuza’s commitment to his work even during his health challenges! Deputy President Paul Mashatile said that his late predecessor, David Mabuza, never let his health challenges stop him from carrying out his duties.
Mashatile was speaking on Thursday at Mabuza’s memorial service at the Phole Sports field in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

During his five-year term as deputy president, Mabuza struggled with health issues that also led him to seek treatment overseas.
Mashatile said that even after stepping down, Mabuza remained committed to upholding the ANC’s values.
“Despite battling with health challenges in his final years, Comrade Mabuza remained steadfast in his commitment to the work at hand. He continued to serve with diligence and sense of duty that had characterised his entire career.”
