Cape Town police hunting gunmen involved in fatal gang-related shooting in Mitchells Plain

Cape Town police are searching for gunmen involved in yet another fatal gang-related shooting in Mitchells Plain.

A man was shot and killed outside Beacon Hill High School on Monday afternoon.

Police said the man received a call to fetch his children from school, and when he arrived, he was ambushed by three unknown armed men and a woman.

Police spokesperson Malcom Pojie explained: “The men opened fire at this vehicle and he was hit multiple times in his upper body. The deceased succumbed to his injuries sustained and was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. The motive is believed to be gang-related.”
