A couple has been found dead in their bedroom at Moganyaka village in Groblersdal in Limpopo.
Police Spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says the 41-year-old sergeant attached to the Tembisa Police Station in Gauteng was heard on Friday night having an argument with his 37-year-old wife.

Ledwaba says the couple’s son discovered the bodies, and a firearm next to the husband’s body on Saturday.

“It is reported that on Friday evening the wife and the husband had a heated argument while were in their bedroom. On Saturday morning their 20-year-old son decided to go and check on them and on arrival he found both his mother and father lying in a pool of blood. The motive behind the incident is not yet known. Domestic violence cannot be ruled out.”
