Siza Mzimela is jumping off the train. The Transnet Freight Rail Chief Executive Officer will vacate her office at the end of this month. Mzimela assumed office in 2020 and in her memo to staff, she highlighted her successes over the last 3 years.
Her resignation comes just days after Transnet boss Portia Derby quit. Michelle Phillips, CEO of Transnet Pipelines, will act as Group CEO until a replacement is found.
