Police investigating murder case after WSU employee killed in Mthatha! Eastern Cape police are investigating a murder case after a senior Walter Sisulu University employee was killed in Mthatha.
The staff member, who is yet to be identified, was shot execution style near the institution on Thursday night.

This is the latest shooting at the university following the death of student Sisonke Mbolekwa, who was killed on campus after residence manager Manalesi Mampane allegedly opened fire at protesting students earlier this year.
Mampane, who is currently out on bail, was arrested on charges of murder and attempted murder.
The police’s Nobuntu Gantana: “The Acting Provincial Commissioner of Eastern Cape Major-General Thandiswa Kupiso stated: ‘SAPS has mobilised maximum resources to pursue all leads. Public speculation must be avoided to preserve the integrity of the investigation.'”
