Cassper Nyovest has fired back at a social media troll who attempted to dismiss his upcoming music release.

The award-winning rapper recently got fans talking after announcing that he would be dropping a brand-new single on Friday, followed by a full album a few weeks later. Cassper also hinted that the upcoming project would reveal a different musical direction from what fans may be used to hearing from him.

“I’m dropping the single Friday. Then the album in a few weeks. I’m on a different tip though, lol. Get ready to fight!!! I went my own way nje. But I love the music I’m making right now,” he wrote.

While many supporters expressed excitement about the announcement, one social media user attempted to mock the rapper by claiming fans would rather listen to Drake than stream Cassper’s upcoming release.

“Bro, we not finna listen to whatever u goin drop, we’re bumping Drake for the next 3 years crodie,” the troll commented.

Cassper, however, quickly clapped back at the critic with confidence, insisting that the user was secretly still a fan despite the negativity.

“Yet you’re outchea replying to my tweets when I never asked you. You’re a fan brother, whether you like it or not, YOU ARE A CASSPER NYOVEST FAN!!!” the rapper responded.

The Tito Mboweni hitmaker continued jokingly, predicting that the same social media user would still be listening to — and commenting on — the new single once it officially drops next week.

“You are gonna be here next week Friday tweeting how trash my single is, you know why? Cos YOU IS A FAN!!! Lol,” he added.

Fans quickly reacted to the exchange, with many praising Cassper for handling the criticism humorously while confidently promoting his upcoming music. Others said the online interaction proved that even his critics continue to pay attention to everything he does.

The rapper has been teasing new music for weeks, leaving supporters eager to hear the new sound he says reflects where he currently is creatively.

The online exchange has since gone viral, with fans now even more curious about the highly anticipated single and album release.
