Cape Town metro police officers arrested a suspect for the possession of drugs worth more than half a million rand.
On Thursday in Woodstock, officers were conducting stop and search patrols when they searched a premises in Tide Street.

A large consignment of drugs was found, and a 39-year-old suspect was arrested for the possession of drugs and was detained at Woodstock SAPS for further investigation.
The spokesperson for the metro police, Ruth Solomons, said that all the drugs, estimated to have a value of R528,550, were confiscated.
“The officers searched a bag and found one large dagga bag, one half a large bag of dagga, 10 large bags of cocaine, 36 bullet-shaped dagga parcels, 15 medium medical bags containing cannabis, 33 glass containers containing cannabis and 505 brown king-size cannabis cones.”
