Ndlovu assaulted his wife in April last year accusing her of cheating, after going through her phone.

He then forced his wife into the car and drove to the deceased’s home where he shot him twice.

life imprisonment

IPID spokesperson Lizzie Shuping said “After the murder of the suspected boyfriend, the accused officer took his wife to a secluded place where he assaulted her. She was able to run away and hid in the nearby bushes. After he couldn’t locate her, he drove off. She dragged herself to the main road as she had suffered a broken leg. A passerby took her to hospital for medical treatment.”

Meanwhile, a Gauteng policewoman has also recently been sentenced to 20 years behind prison walls for killing her partner.
