The incomparable J’ Something delivered all the charm and talent at Valentine’s Day Picnic by Stella Artois at Kleine Rijke, in Hartbeespoort yesterday. The event, a celebration of love and meaningful connections, saw J’ Something serenade 25 couples and other guests with an unforgettable performance.
Seen relaxing and socializing at the picnic in their casual summer chic looks, were top creatives, including the inspiration behind modern African Cuisine, Chef Nti, Melbourne’s best-dressed gentleman and Zimbabwe’s most dapper export, Palmer Mutandwa, Chef Neo Nontso, bestselling cookbook author Chef Zanele and multi-disciplinary Illustrative artist, Sindiso Nyoni.
“I love these kinds of events. They combine all my passions: tasty food, great music and people coming together in celebration of love and connection. It was great to see everyone having a wonderful time, it really was a beautiful experience,” said J’ Something who was also featured in the Festive Get-Together in the Life Artois TV show on Mzansi Magic in December.
The romance of the occasion also resulted in a marriage proposal. Ilan Brest and Shani Lasarow from Johannesburg had been dating six years when Ilan decided this was the perfect moment to ask Shani for her hand in marriage.
