Five men accused of AKA and Tibz’s murders expected to appear in court! Five men accused of the murders of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane are expected to appear in the Durban High Court on Thursday.
The appearance will mark the start of the trial, more than two years after the two were shot and killed on Florida Road.

In total, seven suspects have been arrested for the crime, with two who are the alleged shooters charged in Eswatini.
The high-profile murder case will be heard in the Durban High Court for the first time since it was certified trial-ready three months ago.
During the previous appearance, the court dismissed new bids for bail by two of the accused.
The alleged mastermind, Mziwethemba Gwabeni, and the alleged spotter, Lindokuhle Ndimande, approached the court for bail on new facts.
With attempts to have the two suspects in Eswatini brought back to the country still underway, the State said it is ready to proceed with the matter.
